Nightly Minimums

During May and late October we have a 2 night minimum for our cottages and a 3 night minimum for our apartments. During June-early October, there is a 3 night minimum for cottages and a 4 night minimum for apartments, unless specified in the reservations page.

During the months of July and August, we do not allow arrivals or departures on Saturdays.

Check-In/Out Details

Check-in: 4PM

Check-out: 10AM

We are exclusively a self check-in property. 4 days prior to arrival you will receive an email with a lockbox code to access your unit. Unless previously communicated with the host, your unit will not be ready until 4PM. Please email/text us to request an early arrival/late departure.

Reservation Deposits

We require a deposit of 1st night’s room & tax to be paid when the reservation is made. The remaining balance will be collected via email deposit 7 days prior to arrival. Balance must be cleared prior to check-in.

There will be a $10 reservation change fee for any reservation changes, excluding extending the reservation. If a reservation is shortened, it must adhere to our nightly minimum. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled, and the coinciding penalty will be assessed. NO CHANGES ARE ALLOWED 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, unless it’s an extension.

Cancellation Policy

Once a reservation is created, regardless of the circumstance, the following policy will be applied.

More than 3 weeks from arrival date: $25 cancellation fee
Less than 3 weeks from arrival date: Booking deposit withheld
Less than 7 days from arrival date: No Refund, entire amount forfeited

There will be no refunds for early departures.

Pet Policy

The Inn at Lewis Cottages is not pet friendly. This includes service animals. Please let us know if you have a service animal, and we will offer alternative accommodations. The cottages and barn apartment are pet friendly with a max of two animals per unit. There is a $50 pet fee that will be added to the reservation at the time of booking. Guests must respect all pet rules including keeping your pet leashed at all times, using the set pet relief area (please pick up after your pet!), not using any guest linen for their pet, not using the cabin shower for their pet, and ensuring their animal does not scratch or damage any items in the cabin. If damage is done, the owner will be assessed additional fees based on damages. (Upon request, We do have pet towels, blankets, feeding dishes, and an outdoor water hose for bathing pets.)

Smoking Policy

The barn, cottages, and inn are all non-smoking units. If you wish to smoke, please do so at any outdoor area, excluding the playground. If you wish to smoke on your porch, please close your cottage door to keep smoke from entering.
